As a tour guide with travelbelge.com, you will lead small groups through selected regions in Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, or Austria.
You are a host, storyteller, navigator, and cultural mediator all in one. In this role, you play a key part in making our journeys unforgettable. The success of this position lies in how safe, inspired, and personally supported our guests feel – and how much you shape their travel experience.
You are the face of travelbelge.com on the ground.
Guiding tours: Lead small groups (4–12 people) on day and multi-day tours in Belgium and other countries, highlighting cultural, culinary, and historical aspects.
Organization & guest support: Ensure smooth tour operations, communicate with local partners, adapt to changes, and offer individual support to participants.
Storytelling: Share local history, legends, and insider tips in an engaging and accessible way.
Safety & quality: Take responsibility for the group's safety and well-being, and collect feedback.
On-site coordination: Coordinate with accommodations, restaurants, and local providers; help with translations or adjustments when needed.
Experience in tour guiding, hospitality, or event coordination (career changers with passion also welcome)
Excellent communication skills in German; French or English is a plus
Solid knowledge of Belgian culture and history, or a strong willingness to learn
Resilience, improvisation skills, and a good sense for group dynamics
Passion for working with people, strong service mindset, and a sense of responsibility
Driving license (Class B) is a plus
